Faking It till I Make It

Things are pretty tough on the other blog so I'm trying to fake it here.

Last week G took J skiing again and now she's catching air! Doing the trick slopes and managing 3 - 5 ft in the air. Totally impressed with her. She's doing amazingly well and trying her very best to pick me up. It was G's weekend so he took her to the lake and she did really well there too.

A shopping trip was required today for new shoes since all have been outgrown. 6 1/2ladies! I'm still in shock. So long cute kid shoes.

I have put both girls on 1500 mg of niacin after reading and talking to Christine and Dia. Increased omega's too.

After about 4 days I started noticing a difference.

During the above mentioned shopping trip I purchased wi-fi blu-ray player. (Thanks Cindy) Purchased so that I could download instant net f li x educational documentaries for J to watch. Many hours of frustration later I discovered that unfortunately ancient TV's and blu-ray's don't get along so well. Now it looks like I'm getting another TV.

Thanks for hanging with me till I get my crap together. I've been a horrible bloggy friend. My sincere apologies. I just don't have much positive to say these days and I'm trying to keep it to myself.

Lisa,

I've been thinking of you. God is holding your heart in His hands. That's a good thing.

Where do you get these supplements? I think niacin is pretty easy to find, but what about the omegas? E-mail me with specifics if you can.

Blessings!

Hannah

Hannah,
I'm a big believer in a good brand of omegas so that I'm not constantly burping fish. We use nordic naturals and Barleans Omega swirl.

Anyone with a RAD kid gets this. BTDT. Still doin' it. :) You will be ok. Everything will be ok. Somehow, it always is.

Take good care, friend.

Have you cranked the tunes and danced around like Elaine on Seinfeld yet? The more hideous the dance, the better one feels. Being ridiculous in the face of difficulty sometimes helps.

Many days it's okay to just get through. Sometimes I wake up hoping to hang on until I can close my eyes. This journey is not for sissies. You are a strong woman and you will persevere. May not be pretty but it will happen. Praying for you!

Don't ever apologize to us Lisa! We aren't bloggy friends only in good times ya know-if it feels good to vent, vent away. We wouldn't think bad things, really we wouldn't. Do whatever you need to do. Take care of yourself. Please.

I have a phone. I like to commiserate. I send big hugs. And YES the omegas and niacin are AMAZING! (Some bad stuff may also make it to the surface but...it's all good!)

Love you!

hey, no worries on the blogosphere absence. I was thinking about it this morning actually and figured if you were AWOL it was because J and K needed you more. So I sent some prayers your way.

I'm thinking about you. We all go through these ups and downs as parents of our children. You are strong and will manage to get to the other side. I'm here if you need me any time of day.

Take whatever time you need. But I do hope you will try that crazy dancing idea. Even if it only brings you a few minutes of reprieve, that's better than nothing.

Can't believe J's skiing!! I have always wondered what it would feel like to catch air that way. She must feel so free in that moment of suspension.

I've been thinking about you a lot. Big hugs to you. So sorry things are rough right now. And isn't it just like technology to force you to buy *something else* when you think you just need one thing???

You know we love you in good times and bad.

Years ago my old floor model televeision (yes, I held onto my parents floor model television for as long as it would turn on. LOL) said bad words to me when I tried to hook up dvd players and cable modems to it. I had to move up to a t.v made in this century.

Anytime you need....call.
