Blossoming J

J is really astounding me daily. Blossoming before my very eyes. Adding Special K to the family has been really good for her and she is loving having a sister. For now anyway. It's funny to watch Special K be a mirror for J to see how far she has come. She's blown away too. There may be regression at some time but I am enjoying it for now.

When SK arrived I gave J the option of going to bed at 7:30. She's only used it once and every night announces that she is a pooped puppy and ready to go to bed. 7 may sound early but we're all naturally early risers so we start our day around 5:30 - 6ish and go hard non-stop all day. They're exhausted come bed time. Mom is too.

You can see her maturity and physical growth in these pictures. I know you must be so proud of her. I love 7:30 bedtime and sometimes mine don't make it all the way to 7:30.

Peace

So glad all is going well. I am a fan of early bed hours as well. My kids are also early risers and I find if I don't get them to bed early they are super cranky and unable to hold it together. Also I found that PTSD issues were worsened when one of mine was over tired. Night terrors and sleep walking and bed wetting were all worse if he was overtired and late to bed.

All my friends have kids who love to sleep late so it is cool to read about someone else who has early birds.

GOrgeous girl you have there! Her confidence shines.
My girls are both early getter- uppers. Terrible. God punishing me for something, I am sure. I don't like to blink prior to 10am but have had to go along for the ride anyway.

Did you have your pictures professionally done or are you taking them? They are amazing. They totally capture the light inside your daughter. She is gorgeous.

That is the way to do it. Wear them out. Too bad you have to wear yourself out in the process.
J is amazing, totally amazing. She breaks and fills my heart at the same time.
