My therapeutic panties have left the building. If anyone finds them please let me know.
On the flip side... I learned something new today. I've always wondered why so much pee happens during the night when there is no intake. Kristy cleared that up for me today. They are so constricted during daylight hours, just trying to stay alive and living in their amygdala, that they cannot fully empty their bladder. When they finally relax at night, when they don't have the stress and fear of....I don't know....living.... and um....heaven forbid trying to love someone, they can actually fully release their bladder. Who knew?!?!?!
Honestly....I had no idea.

Makes total sense!! Clears up a mystery for me, too. Now if I could just get them to a)not deliberately wet themselves and b)pay attention to when they are wetting during the day I think I'd bottle it and become a millionaire.
My panties have been in a tangle for awhile, too. I hate it! Until you can find them again, turn on a movie and veg for awhile. It will do both of you a world of good!
Love you! I'm sorry this is all happening. Remember what you told me...you KNOW how to be a RAD mom. The panties are still there - they must just be stuck in a crack ;) You are AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME and don't you tell yourself any different darnit!
Dude, if I find your panties you have way worse problems that you think. LOL! Try a thong ha ha.
Pee. I swim in it. I hate it.
I wonder if that concept works - generally...... Just before reading this I was thinking how I don't look forward to going to bed, since I've been so anxious lately, I don't even have nice dreams....and I keep waking up to - well, you know what. (I DO GET UP however!) :)
Wow! Learn something new every day! Thanks for passing it along.
And... if you restrict them, their bladders can't expand in their waking hours, and then it keeps on keepin' on!
We ordered a monitor to help "re-train" my daughter's brain. It clips on her gown with a cord down to her panties that has a sensor. She's been pee free for 3-weeks. In fact, since wearing the monitor, it's never even gone off because SHE HASN'T WET HER BED!!! I think the monitor makes her feel safe, and if she does have an accident, she feels like it will wake her up so she can take care of things.
I have a link to info on my blog: http://quackenbaby.blogspot.com/2011/05/guess-whos-7-year-old-wets-bed.html
holy hannah that Kristy is a smart cookie. That makes so much sense.
oh boy...
Huh, well that makes sense. My boy will pee the ocean every night!
