Hmmmm...

Just in case you think you're going to be bored without all the drama, I'll let you in on a little secret. J has been "ill". I don't know about in other parts of the country but in the south that means sick sometimes and at other times it means grumpy. For J it is the latter. Not really RAD stuff just cantankerous. Like a little old woman. She seems to be really tired. A lot. She's had a nap almost every day because she wants one. This afternoon she had a nap and was ready to go to bed at 6:15.

She's not running a fever or complaining about anything. She's just really sleepy. She told me today that getting rid of the yuckies made her really tired. We'll see what tomorrow brings.....

I think sleep is a good way for your body to mend itself! Children are more intune with that.

I know this is not at all the same but the little boy we have is a totally different child in just 4 weeks here. When he came he could NOT sit still for a second. Bounced off the walls literally. I was ready to get him some medication after about 24 hours. He is so calm and naps everyday for 2 hours now and is ready for bed by 8:00. He was wound up so tight and anxious before, now he is relaxed and happy. Maybe she is just relaxed too. Enjoy it while you have it :)

Keep up with the loves and the Carnelian like the Awesome Mom you are.

And I don't know- Is it possible that without Yuckies J is reaching out to her own stones? The first time I "asked" my (now favourite) piece of Amethyst for a good night' sleep I was out for 2 hours.

Light, love, (and most importantly?) energy

Sleep is a good thing!! Let her rest and hopefully today she will be feeling better!!

I hope she is just needing to catch up on sleep. Maybe getting rid of her "yuckies" and the changes in her behavior caused her to burn a lot of energy.

Of course I am still speaking to you! You are funny!

We go through a lot of highs and lows with Tara. Especially after she is sick or has an emergency of some sort (cutting her ear nearly off, burning off all the skin on her finger, etc good times). She will be much more mellow for a few weeks or so afterwards. Maybe our kids scare themselves with their behavior??? Who knows.

P.S. I suck at commenting.
