We had a fabulous time at the beach. It was so good to get away from home. However, I'm starting to get the itch to go on an adult vacation. Feeling kind of guilty about that too.

J did really great and ate her weight in crab legs. Seriously that child can put those things away like nobody's business. Unfortunately for my wallet we discovered a place that has the best crab legs ever and we had to go there twice.

The trip was relaxing and very low key. I needed that. Most of you have seen the majority of our pics on FB but I wanted to include a few here for those of you who don't check in there.
Just so y'all know...I am reading and keeping up. Just slacking in the comments department. Really slacking. I'm going to try to get started back in a routine tomorrow.

My favorite is the footprint...

"Footprints in the Sand"

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.

In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.
Sometimes there were two sets of footprints,
other times there were one set of footprints.

This bothered me because I noticed
that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from
anguish, sorrow or defeat,
I could see only one set of footprints.

So I said to the Lord,
“You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you,
you would walk with me always.
But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life
there have only been one set of footprints in the sand.
Why, when I needed you most, you have not been there for me?”

The Lord replied,
“The times when you have seen only one set of footprints in the sand,
is when I carried you.”

I loved your pictures! Beaches are my personal favorite. It is good you posted- after a week or so, I start worrying something is wrong. Neurotic, I know.

Nice pics! I am glad you are back. On my long drive to Younger Kid's treatment yesterday I was wondering where you have been. I am glad it was a vacation keeping you away! Welcome home, Friend!

What gorgeous photos!

You absolutely deserve some grown up time!

I was thinking about you yesterday as I attended a training class on tapping. My daughter wanted to know if you still have the YouTube of J doing the tapping? She's finally willing to think about trying it and I think seeing another kid doing it might help.

The pic of that child is amazing! You can come take me out for crab legs and show me how to use that camera on your adult vacation. :)
