Blech

J has not had a good day today and neither have I. In all honesty, it wasn't all J. Most of it was all me. I've had not one iota of patience. None. Nada. Zip. I haven't even had the patience to work tools with J. Shoulda taken to the bed. Had the vapors or something. Anything else could've possibly resulted in a modicum of success but nope I was stuck on grumpy.

I'm putting myself to bed early and pray this passes by morning. Yuck.

Like I tell Tara, each day we start fresh. Tomorrow is a new day, a new beginning, a built-in do-over. Hope it goes better for you :)

Thinking of you.

I'm running away this weekend for a couple of days. Will be refreshing. Then I'll have to come home and pay my penance. :)

Sounds like my day yesterday was contagious--SORRY!! I hope that your day is brighter tomorrow!!

BTW--I have NO and I mean ZERO patience. It is a quality that I despise in myself!!

Tomorrow will surely be better. I think it's something in the air. I've had NO patience whatsoever today. (That's true for most days, actually, but today especially.) A good night's sleep should help.

Will send you some energy

Good for you for showing J even grownups without RAD have bad days and they can change it up the next day. I hope you get some good sleep and have a better day tomorrow. HUGS!

All of us have days like that. Parenting a RAD kid is exhausting and stressful. Sometimes I wake up dreading getting my Radishes out of bed. Sometimes just getting through the day has to be OK. We have to allow ourselves that. This is not a spring, it's a marathon. Hang in there, awesome Mom!

Hoping for a better day for you tomorrow!

Must be something going around (or lack of sleep or forgetting MY medication), but I had the same issue yesterday.

Oh well, as another poster mentioned, it is an opportunity to show my daughter the correct way to handle frustration (I did manage to only fuss at her gently and although not sympathetic, I didn't lose my temper) - of course she is so super sensitive that she felt yelled at anyway. *sigh*

No way to win that anyway.
Hugs and prayers,

Maybe yall should have reversed roles, and J do some of her techniques on you! haha... We all have those days! It just isn't possible to have it all together everyday. Thank goodness tomorrow is another day! Sleep well tonight.

I was in a funk last week when I was sick and I paid for it with Little B's escalation. Yesterday I woke up in a kick arse mood and I rocked it, lol. You'll get back to yourself too! We all have our days. HUGS!!

Hell yeah, you go right ahead and have you a bad day. Enjoy it! Do some yoga. Can't hurt- oh, wait...

I wish I didn't have days like this sometimes, but I do. It always makes me sad because I know that I could be doing better. I just try the next day to be conscious of how hideous I was the day before and then try to be better.
